Estomaqués par la découverte des premiers albums de Napalm Death, Anthony, Jérôme et Benjamin se lancent dans le Death Metal.

Dans une approche patrimoniale d’archiviste, façon “Light in the Attic”, CRABE Records vous propose de découvrir l’intégrale des enregistrements du projet GROTHOR, qui n’a hélas pas survécu aux vacances d’été post baccalauréat 2000.

Ces jeunes gens nous ont laissé un peu plus de 6 minutes d’un death métal certes brutal mais pas gore pour un sou, aux titres fun (“Rainbows, Puppies and Unicorns” ou “More Water, Sir ?”) : pas question ici de décapitation ou de repas à base de chair humaine.

Les instruments sont à peine maîtrisés, mais quelle fraîcheur à l’écoute de ces brûlots pleins d’une énergie encore adolescente, définitivement punk et foutraque !

With an archivist approach, like the guys from “Light in the Attic”, CRABE Records is proud to bring to you all the band's recordings. GROTHOR sadly lasted less than a year.

Those fine young men let us a little bit more than 6 minutes of brutal death metal but not gory at all, with fun titles (“Rainbows, Puppies and Unicorns” or “More Water, Sir ?”) : no beheading nor human flesh eating here.

They barely know how to play but there is so much freshness and adolescent energy in those definitly punk and crooked tunes !
